Look at Me Photography is my dream come true. I’m a mother of three children and always wanted to be able to be a stay-at-home mom. Which only became possible when I decided to follow my heart and pursue my passion…photography. I truly believe that you are good at anything you put your mind to. But put your heart into something and watch how it flourishes and grows. Photography has always been my passion from school age through adulthood. I went from photographing friends and special moments to milestones and little details in my children’s lives that I wanted to capture forever. To hold onto in the hopes of never forgetting all the giggles, funny faces, and awkward moments they go through.

I think the one thing that allows me to capture children and families in their element is being childlike myself. I may grow old, but I refuse to grow up and being able to get down with a child on their level and assuring them it’s okay to have fun while getting their portrait taken is a personal challenge I take with every client.

It’s okay to laugh, make funny faces and noises. No one is perfect and shouldn’t be expected to perform as such. If we could all see life through the eyes of a child, and learn to relax, release your inhibitions and expectations of a perfect portrait…well, you’ll find that you will have images that you just can’t live without. A portrait from Look at Me will warm your heart and touch your soul. It might even bring a tear to your eye as it tugs at your heartstrings.
