Meet Jordan….what a little stinker she is! ;) She was a VERY good baby, not fussy, no messes….. but she kept trying to fool me. We got lots of cute shots with her wide-eyed but when it came time to snuggle in and relax, she just wasn’t having nothing to do with that business! lol I’m sure she was afraid she might miss something. Her little cat naps and then peaking at me as if to say, “Gotcha!” was so cute. As soon as we finished her session, mom dressed her back up, tucked her into her car seat and she was out like a light. I swear if babies could snore she would have been sawing some major logs! Little stinker. ;)

It’s fun to see my families growing. Jordan big sister Morgan was my very first newborn ever in my home studio almost 5 years ago. It’s such an honor to continue to photograph the same families and children year after year. Thanks so much Keri for sharing another one of your sweethearts with me! I hope you enjoy Jordan’s previews.

Landry Ryanne

Check out this adorable little sweetie! Soft and cuddly, Landry just gives you those baby vibes! Everyone needs another baby when they are this sweet! I loved all the goodies that mom had around the house to use for props too! Yep, those at-home sessions are always one-of-a-kind! Plus, even though dad’s hate having pictures taken, they get to relax at home during the process.

Grandma’s handmade quilt made the perfect addition for an ‘antique’ feel. And of course, every little girl wants to remember Daddy’s hands….someday Landry will appreciate those hard working hands more than anything. She’ll always be daddy’s little girl, but daddy won’t always be able to hold her in the palm of his hands.

What a perfect little family. Thanks so much Catherine for sharing Miss Landry with me. Can’t wait to do her next session, she was such a GOOD BABY!!!! =)

Morgan

Friday was a day full of sweet, soft babies! After visiting with Ryan I got to meet this little princess….. Morgan. What a doll!!!

Did you ever see anything more precious than baby cleavage?! ;) lol too cute! Daddy is going to have his hands full when Morgan gets older. What a beautiful little girl. Her full head of fluffy hair reminded me of Taylor’s when she was born. Like a little peacock. :)

She definitely has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Thanks again for sharing Morgan with me, next time we’ll have to include the puppies! :)

And, I’ve already told you how much more relaxed a Lifestyle session is in your home…. just ask Dad too! He got to carry on his work while I was there and took in a bit of the History channel too. ;) Much better than spending an hour or more sitting in a chair waiting for mom and baby to be finished while he has his five minutes of fame. Lifestyle sessions rock!

Riley & Ryan

You know, there are some clients (most actually!) that you always look forward to seeing time and time again. Riley (and his parents too I suppose) is one of those clients! This kid can make me smile and laugh like crazy. Such a character!

But it was great to meet little brother Ryan too. Who would have thought that your baby’s dresser could be so cute in a photo?! That’s what Lifestyle Portraits are all about. Ask any mom who has had her Lifestyle session and she’ll tell you it was so much easier and more relaxed than any photo session they’ve ever had. It pays to stay at home!

And yes, we have plenty of his cute little mug without that paci too! lol Sometimes you just gotta work with it! LOL After doing some of Ryan’s photos we went outside to play! A few quick family photos…..

And then it was time for the fun stuff!!! In less than 10 minutes (yes, TEN) Riley had me watching him swing on a rope, racing around playing tag, riding the gator, climbing stumps, and pulling his wagon searching for alligators. :) The kid can move! lol… but it was a terrific ten minutes. I don’t think I have one bad picture of this little cutie. He stole my heart when he was born and he’ll always be one of my favorites. Thanks mom and dad for sharing your boys with me. I had a great time!

Rhylan

There is nothing more incredibly perfect than watching the birth of a new baby. I got to witness Rhylan’s birthday and he’s an incredible little perfect miracle. A chubby, soft as silk, amazing, awe inspiring miracle. Thank you Lord for Rhylan, another work of art straight from your hands.

Welcome to the Mommy Club Britt! ;) It’s a bumpy ride, but worth every second. Congratulations Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Kyle. See you soon with a surprise for Rhylan’s Birthday! :)
