Berkley

Posted on July 27, 2010

Berkley recently celebrated her first birthday!  It’s hard to believe a year has gone by since this little princess graced us with her presence.  What a special little girl (and I think she’s gonna be really REALLY spoiled by her Papa!).  It was a tad bit hot and steamy Saturday morning but we made the most of it and I had so much fun playing with Berkley.  She’s definitely a little farm girl in the making.  I bet Papa will have her driving the tractor before she rides a bicycle!  lol  Thanks for the smiles Tyann.

Berkley absolutely LOVES cake!!!  We barely got her sat down and she dove right in!  But, she was also not very happy with us when we took it away either! ;)

I couldn’t resist not using the trees from Papa’s business!  Look at those precious little cheeks!  Just makes you wanna squeeze her doesn’t it?!  :)

And, I’m sure this will be Papa’s favorite picks.  ;)  He’s fond of his tractors and fond of his little girl.  Hope you like them Papa!

Riley & Ryan

You know, there are some clients (most actually!) that you always look forward to seeing time and time again.  Riley (and his parents too I suppose) is one of those clients!  This kid can make me smile and laugh like crazy.  Such a character!

But it was great to meet little brother Ryan too.  Who would have thought that your baby’s dresser could be so cute in a photo?!  That’s what Lifestyle Portraits are all about.  Ask any mom who has had her Lifestyle session and she’ll tell you it was so much easier and more relaxed than any photo session they’ve ever had.   It pays to stay at home! ;)

And yes, we have plenty of his cute little mug without that paci too! ;)  lol  Sometimes you just gotta work with it!  LOL  After doing some of Ryan’s photos we went outside to play!  A few quick family photos…..

And then it was time for the fun stuff!!!  In less than 10 minutes (yes, TEN) Riley had me watching him swing on a rope, racing around playing tag, riding the gator, climbing stumps, and pulling his wagon searching for alligators.  :)  The kid can move!  lol… but it was a terrific ten minutes.  I don’t think I have one bad picture of this little cutie.  He stole my heart when he was born and he’ll always be one of my favorites.  Thanks mom and dad for sharing your boys with me.  I had a great time!

Check out ‘GQ Riley’… what a poser!  ;)

Charlie

This little cutie stole my heart from the time he got out of his truck!  One of the best parts about my job is watching families evolve.  I had the pleasure of photographing Charlie’s aunt a few years ago as a high school senior.  :)  Charlie had his 6 month portraits taken this morning and even though it got a little warm for us big people, Charlie enjoyed his morning playing with his tractor and ‘bathing’ in the creek.  I couldn’t wait for Charlie’s session as I had this surprise in mind for his momma for a couple of weeks.  But I didn’t anticipate Charlie becoming so engrossed in watching the water trickle over the stones in the creek…..  we could hardly keep his attention!  LOL

What a wonderful way to start the day!  I hope you all enjoyed your morning as much as I did!  Have a happy Father’s Day Charlie!  I’m sure grandpa won’t be too upset that you snuck away with his cowboy hat after he sees how cute you are!

Pipes Family

I hadn’t seen Brandi in quite some time, and it was a pleasant surprise to meet the newest member of their family….Bronson.  :)

He was a little tired in the beginning of our session but we managed to get a few good family photos….

And when he fell asleep, it was time to play!  The boys got to break out their toys, and we drove tractor trikes, took wagon rides and even did a little fishin’….  :)  I had a blast with these boys!  Thanks Brandi for letting me photograph your family.  I hope you weren’t too miserable in the heat, it wasn’t quite what we expected!  Plus, it was a beautiful way to spend my Friday.

I hope you enjoy your previews!  I’ll talk to you soon.

Farmer Caleb

Caleb is turning one and we had so much fun with his birthday session!  Yummy Cake everywhere!  I swear this boy was such a joy to photograph…. I don’t have a single bad shot!  How will I ever narrow down mom and dad’s proofs?!  :)

After cake we headed to the farm to enjoy some sunshine and fresh country air!  I do believe little Caleb is going to grow up to follow in Daddy’s footsteps.  He makes such a cute little farmer.  :)
